BLANKETS FOR PROJECT LINUS — Merlene Sanborn displays just a few of the quilts made annually for Project Linus — which provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and afghans lovingly created by volunteer blanketeers. The 2017 date is Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Penquis Higher Education Center in Dover- Foxcroft. Please call 564-2246 or 564-2281 with questions.
