Philip L. Ingeneri, (Flip) died July 6, 2016 in his home at Del Ray Beach, Florida after a courageous battle with cancer.
Philip was born in New York City and moved to Bangor at age 14. He attended Bangor High School, the University of Maine, and George Washington University School of Law. He practiced law for over forty years in Bangor. He served on the boards of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and Big Brothers and Sisters of Bangor.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in law Matthew and Tina Ingeneri; his granddaughter, Emily Ingeneri; his sister and brother in law Lois and David Bernstein; his niece Lara Mathews and her husband, Daniel Mathews; his nephew, Richard Bernstein; his cousins Ellen and Avi Kandel, Laurence and Elke Bader; and his great nieces Alexandra and Katharine Mathews.
Philip loved the State of Maine and his passions were skiing its slopes and sailing its coast. In his last years, his greatest joy was being a grandfather. He will be remembered for his great wit and keen intellect.
