SURRY – Jeremiah “Jimma” Moon, 26, of Surry, passed away too soon on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Jeremiah left this world surrounded by his family, holding his mother’s hand after a terrible accident. Jeremiah was born in Ellsworth, April 6, 1990.
Jeremiah touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He would do anything for anyone. He loved his family unconditionally, especially his little nieces and nephew, Gracelyn, Auria and Xander; they will always remember their Uncle Buggy. He lived life to the fullest, no task too small, no challenge too hard. He lit up a room just by walking into it. His presence alone made this world a better place.
Jeremiah is survived by his parents, Darcel (Moon) Winslow and Reginald Winslow, Jr. of Surry; brother, Jonathan Moon and Lindsay Elwell of Surry; brother, Joshua Moon and Samantha Tozier of Dover Foxcroft; sister, Cassidy Hall of Surry; brother, Izaiah Winslow of Milbridge; ‘brother’, Steve McDonnell of Bar Harbor; his beloved animals, Duke, Samson, Lucy and Alice; and the love of his life, Kalli White of Ellsworth; grandparents, Rose Denis of Florence Alabama, Heidi Langlois and David Jordan of Ellsworth. He also leaves behind many close friends, including Jimmy Carpenter and Ben Harrigan; aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Contributions can be made at any Bar Harbor Bank location for “Jimma’s Expenses”.
A service will be held for Jeremiah on Saturday, August 6th, 2016.
