Letter: Thank you for support

To the Editor;

I want to congratulate Republican Senator Paul Davis on his decisive re-election to the Maine Senate. I feel confident that Senator Davis will be listening to the concerns of the people of District 4 and that he will represent all of his constituents in the Maine legislature.

I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who gave so generously of their time and their passion for the democratic process during my campaign. Although we are the minority party in Piscataquis County, the Piscataquis County Democratic Committee will continue advocating for the policies and principles that Democrats hold dear: economic and social equality, freedom to make personal choices, access to health care and quality education for all Mainers and environmental protection and sustainability.
