Donna Joyce Leathers Renoll

Donna Joyce Leathers Renoll, 73, of 3400 Clayton Road, Joppa, MD passed away surrounded by her family on November 12, 2016. She is survived by her husband Gerald ‘Jerry’ Renoll; brother Howard ‘Lucky’ Leathers of Midland, GA; daughters Eunice and Mary Renoll of Joppa; sons Roger Renoll and his wife Marty of York, PA; and Greg Renoll of Joppa. She was the adored grandmother to Andrea Renoll; Stephen Renoll and his wife Stephanie; Sadie Quiroga and her husband Alex; Kelsey, Morgan and Joshua Renoll; and Kayla, Nathan, Tyler and Tommy Renoll. She was also the great grandmother of Anthony and Alexis Renoll; Antonio Furtado and Jemma Quiroga. Donna was born in Dover-Foxcroft, ME on April 12, 1943. She and her brothers were raised by the late Herbie and Clara Rolfe. She graduated from Milo High School in Milo, ME. After graduation, Donna enlisted in the US Army where she met and married her husband of 53 years. Donna was a loving homemaker while raising her four children. She then enjoyed a career as a caregiver with Citizens Nursing Home and Home Instead. Donna enjoyed many hobbies and interests which usually included her love of the outdoors, nature, fishing, bird watching, camping and watching sports. While raising her children she coached girls’ softball for 5-6 years in the North Harford and Delta, PA area. She enjoyed games of many varieties including bingo, card/board games, crosswords and Facebook games. Donna was also involved with the Jarrettsville VFW for many years. Abiding by Donna’’s wishes to be cremated, instead of burial services, we will be having a tree-urn planting ceremony in the spring.
