Soccer all-star selections

Over a half dozen soccer players from the region were named to Maine Soccer Coaches regional all-star teams.

For the girls’ Northern Maine Class C team, Piscataquis Community High School junior Erin Speed was chosen as a forward and Penquis Valley High School sophomore forward Cymeria Robshaw and senior keeper Jordan Durant were also named as all-stars.

Greenville High School junior forward Charlotte Aucoin was a selection for the Southern Maine Class D squad.

Foxcroft Academy junior forward Levi Stedman and senior keeper Logan Butera were both boys’ Northern Maine Class B team picks.

For Northern Maine Class C, Piscataquis junior midfield Bryce Gilbert and Penquis senior back Clayton Preble both represented their schools.

Greenville junior Evan Bjork was named to the Southern Maine Class D regional all-star team.
