DELIVERING CANDY ON HALLOWEEN
“Destination Known”, the youth group from the United Baptist Church in Milo, spent Halloween evening “Reverse Trick-or-Treating”. Wanting to do something out of the ordinary on that day, the youth group members decided to go door-to-door giving away candy rather than asking for it.

The students prepared 350 bags of candy, each with an encouraging Bible verse inside. They did not dress up in costumes, but each participant wore glow-in-the-dark items to represent being “the light of Jesus” to their town. The group regularly helps others in the community by raking, stacking wood, volunteering at the ecumenical food cupboard and singing at the New Beginnings assisted living facility.
