MILO – Betty M. Hackett Celio, 82, died September 16, 2014, at Stillwater Health Care in Bangor. She was born May 5, 1932, in Milo, the daughter of Lloyd E. and Mary A. (Boulier) Hackett. Betty had worked as a waitress for many years. She was a past member of the Penobscot Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Warena Cote and her husband, Charles, and Darlene McCorrison and her husband, Edwin, all of Milo; three grandchildren, Samantha, Renee and Kristina; five great-grandchildren, Hannah, Jillian, Addison, Caelyn and Jasmin; three sisters, Dolores Dove of Euless, TX, Audrey Lowe of League City, TX, and Terri Lee Chambers of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by five sisters, Virginia, Alice Lorraine, Edwina “Feet”, Jackie, and Patricia “PeeWee”; and five brothers, Carl, Francis, Lloyd, William “Billy”, and Wayne.
In keeping with Betty’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Three Rivers Ambulance, PO Box 432, Milo 04463.
