Once again the Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union sponsored a pie eating contest as part of the annual Piscataquis River Festival on July 26 in Guilford.

Ages 5-16 competed in three different age groups with the following results ages 5-8: first place Dylan Reardon; second Devan Pelkey; and third Allie Mae Raymond. Ages 9-12: first Kacey Chambers and Lindsay Reardon (tie); second Frank Krupp; and third Sarah Gray. Ages 13-16: first Praise Olatunde; second Felicite Lane; and third Alaina Reardon.
