Grange events for the month of July

    On Friday, July 11 Garland Grange sponsors a baked bean supper from 5-7 p.m. Menu includes baked beans, Bill’s famous macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, homemade bread and desserts. Takeout is available. Proceeds to benefit the Garland Grange. The Garland Grange Hall is located on the Oliver Hill Road. For more information, call 924-6954.

    Saturday, July 12 Wayside Grange offers a chicken pie supper buffet at 5 p.m. For more information, call 924-5711. The Wayside Grange is located at  851 North Dexter Road (Route 23) in North Dexter.
    Saturday, July 19 Piscataquis Pomona Grange meets for the annual Picnic Fun and Fund Raiser at the home of Walter and Janice Boomsma in Abbot. Festivities include horseshoe pitching and feeding mosquitoes starting at 4 p.m., potluck picnic at 6 p.m., and a fun auction at 7 p.m. All area Granges and friends are invited.     Saturday, July 26 Valley Grangers will be at the River Festival in Guilford with balloons for everyone, stop by and get yours.
