Selectmen’s meeting postponed
GREENVILLE — The Greenville Board of Selectmen’s second meeting of June has been postponed until Wednesday, June 25 at 6:30 p.m. with a rather light agenda.
The first order of business will be the annual election of board officers. Two incumbents — Bonnie DuBien and Bruce Hanson — lost their reelection bids on June 10 and were succeeded by Eugene “Geno” Murray and Josh Brown. DuBien was also chairman of the five-member board.
Selectmen will also hear a presentation from Town Manager John Simko and Public Works Foreman Mark Bernier on a multi-purpose, sidewalk maintenance/field mowing machine as well as options to sell or trade certain pieces of equipment to offset the cost of the new piece of equipment.
The town has also received an offer of a $166,500 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for a stormwater mitigation project at the airport and Simko has recommended approval.
Other items on the agenda include a liquor license renewal for the Lodge at Moosehead, a request from Alicia Kronholm to be reappointed to a three-year term on the Recreation Committee and some proposed changes in the town’s personnel policy.
