Time to stand up to filth

To the Editor;
    I was asked if it bothered me that some men will mock you for your strong stand on why you are opposed to men going to strip clubs, subscribing to porn on cable TV or the Internet and magazines.

I said no, because many of these men talk a great deal and make no sense.
    After awhile too many of these men that love porn will develop a mental disorder and these men don’t care who they hurt as long as they fill their lust and in their “small mind it is an accepted way of life for them.”
    This lifestyle is the reason we have tens of thousands of women and children being sexually assaulted each year and we also have an increase in domestic violence on women and children and we end up with children growing up in broken homes; and this is a big reason we have over 21 million Americans that struggle with depression and some 30,000 commit suicide each year.
    The spring of 2007 the Austrian government had an on-going investigation on child “Porn Sites” in 77 nations and has provided the FBI with more than 200 U.S. Internet addresses in which “suspects pay about $90 to view the abuse of infants and older boys and girls being sexually abused.” Think about that when men think it’s no big deal to look at all forms of porn.
    Philosopher Edmund Burke made it plain, “all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
