Milo Free Public Library February news

By Rochelle Williams
Library Director

Bangor Savings Bank Foundation has started its annual grant making initiative, Community Matters More.
Through this charitable program, the bank offers all Maine residents the opportunity to weigh in on how best to allocate $100,000 it has pledged to 68 non-profit organizations. The voting period takes place during the month of February, with winners announced in April.

The Milo Free Public Library will be a write-in on the ballot. You can either come into the library and cast your vote or vote online at www.bangor.com/cmm.
We at the library would appreciate your vote. Thank you in advance.
We are adding to our magazine collection the following: The Family Handyman and Herb Quarterly. Hopefully both will be useful to our patrons. More new books are on their way.
Questions, call 943-2612 or email us at milolibrary@trcmaine.org.
Winter hours are in effect, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
