VISIT FROM THE GOVERNOR

Gov. Paul LePage, along with State Rep. Paul Davis and other dignitaries, visited the Hibbard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Nov.15 while in Dover-Foxcroft. The Governor presented Jane Hibbard-Merrill with a letter that read, of her appreciation for her years of dedication and devotion to the elderly and their families of the community.

She has been committed to the long-term care and rehabilitation of her patients for more than 50 years and Hibbard Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center has become recognized as one of the top skilled nursing facilities in the state since its inception in 1955. That evening, a reception for Hibbard-Merrill was hosted by Dr. David McDermott and his wife Ellen. Rep. Davis and State Sen. Douglas A Thomas sponsored a Legislative Sentiment that acknowledged Hibbard-Merrill’s unsurpassed years of service. First Atlantic Corporation has purchased Hibbard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and they will continue to provide the high quality care that has become synonymous with Hibbard Nursing Home, Inc.
