PVC field hockey honors

    The area’s three high schools were well represented on the Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC) 2013 all-conference field hockey team.
    Named to the PVC First Team was Peyton Watson of Dexter Regional High School and Foxcroft Academy’s Amber Anderson, Julia Annis, Mackenzie Coiley and Emily Higgins.

    Second Team selections include Abby Webber of Dexter, Brianna Skolfield of Foxcroft and Alanna Page of Piscataquis Community High School.
    Honor mention recognition was earned by Marissa Mitchell of Dexter, Foxcroft’s Abigail Simmons and Miriah Chapman of PCHS.
    The PVC All-Academic field hockey selections include Emma Wing of Dexter, Anderson and PCHS’ Jenna Chapman, Casey Northup, Courtney Richardson and Danielle Spaulding.
