Board to discuss emergency food shelter program funding plans for 2013-14
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis County Local Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) will be holding a meeting to discuss the funding for the upcoming Phase 31 spending period for 2013-14 on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. at the Peakes House, located at 163 East Main Street.
This group is responsible for discussing the needs of families and distributing the anticipated FEMA funds to this area in an effort to reach those individuals and families in high need. The current local recipients are from area food cupboards providing assistance in the Dover-Foxcroft, Milo, Greenville and Monson areas.
The group will also discuss ways to work together to address the growing needs and priorities of families and individuals with limited resources.
