Monday, Oct. 7 —Valley Grange Dictionary Day for Piscataquis Community Elementary School. Third- graders and teachers arrive at the Valley Grange Hall at 1 p.m. for some history lessons and to receive their own personal dictionary. Friday, Oct. 11 — Garland Grange hosts a boiled dinner from 5-7 p.m. at the Garland Grange Hall, Menu includes corned beef, ham and all the vegetables, bread and homemade desserts. Takeout is available. For more information call 924-6954.
Saturday, Oct. 12 — Wayside Grange hosts a public glazed ham supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m, also serving scalloped potatoes, winter squash, salad and biscuits with assorted pies and cakes for dessert.
