Summer in Mooseheadquilt show Aug. 31

    GREENVILLE — On Saturday, Aug. 31 the Moosehead Quilters will present the “Summer In Moosehead” quilt show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Union Evangelical Church at the blinking light in downtown Greenville. There will be quilts on display representing new techniques as well as the old favorites of traditional design. Admission to “Summer In Moosehead” is by donation.

    WARM-UP WITH A QUILT — A “Summer in Moosehead” quilt will be raffled off at the annual quilt show on Aug. 31 at the Union Evangelical Church in Greenville.

    There will also be vendors from area quilting shops to complement the Moosehead Quilters craft/consignment table sale.
    In a joint effort, the members have made and assembled a wonderful “Summer In Moosehead” quilt that is being raffled off and tickets will be available at the door the day of the show.
    Advance tickets can be purchased at the Crazy Moose Quilt Shop on Pritham Avenue where the quilt is displayed. On the day of the show, there will be a door prize drawing at 3 p.m. If the ticket holder is unable to be there at 3 p.m., the winner may pick up the door prize at Crazy Moose. Drawing for the raffle quilt will be at 3 p.m.
