Slightly Off-Center Players announce auditions for September production of ‘The Mousetrap’

     DOVER-FOXCROFT — Auditions for the upcoming production of Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” will be held at the Center Theatre on Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. and Tuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m.

    Rehearsals for the performances will begin in August, with performances on Sept. 20, 21 and 22 and 27 and 28. Scripts and sides are available at the Center Theatre Box Office, 20 East Main Street, for reading before the audition.
    All roles for “The Mousetrap” are available such as the following: Mrs. Mollie Ralston: wife of Giles Ralston, and is a pretty young woman with an ingenious air 20s-30s; Mr. Giles Ralston: a rather arrogant but attractive young man and Mollie’s husband of one year 20s-30s; Christopher Wren: a flighty and neurotic young man with a confiding, almost childish manner 20s-30s; Mrs. Boyle: stern and generally unpleasant late 30s-50s; Major Metcalf: middle aged, squared shoulder man, very military in manner and bearing 40s-50s; Miss Casewell:  a bit masculine in her demeanor, and aloof from other guests late 20s to early 30s; Mr. Paravicini: an unexpected guest  and seems foreign, dark and younger than he appears 30s-40s; Detective Sergeant Trotter: a cheerful, commonplace young man with a slight cockney accent 20s.
