Upcoming food preservation workshop
DOVER-FOXCROFT — University of Maine Cooperative Extension has announced that a canning workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 26 at the Piscataquis County Office,
165 East Main Street, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 8:30. Registration and pre-payment is required.
In this course you will learn the basics behind home food preservation and food safety. This is a hands-on workshop where attendees will be making jam and should bring oven mitts to handle their jam properly.
