Coop. Extension gardening demos

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — UMaine Cooperative Extension Piscataquis County will be presenting raised bed and container gardening demonstrations throughout the gardening season for

interested beginner gardeners at the Dover-Foxcroft location, 165 East Main Street. 
    Master Gardener Dotty Hadler and staff at UMaine Cooperative Extension Piscataquis County will demonstrate how to prepare, plant, care for, harvest, prepare and preserve vegetables grown in raised bed and container gardens. Participants will learn how to successfully raise a sustainable raised bed and/or container garden. Monthly sessions begin May 16 at 3 p.m.  Interested gardeners can sign up for one or more sessions.
