Former Hibbard owner supports staff during pandemic

DOVER-FOXCROFT — “On behalf of Hibbard’s Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, I want to warmly thank Jane Hibbard-Merrill for showing her support to our staff during challenging times,” said Administrator Aaron Thomas.

“Former owner, mentor and constant friend of Hibbard’s Nursing Home presented the gift of signs and shirts thanking staff for ‘Always Protecting our Residents.’ and thanked all of our staff for doing just that throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. She emphasized compassion and understanding for how much hard work it takes by all staff to remain COVID-free. Always a professional she stayed outside the building and although masked and 6 feet apart, she was able to convey her message of gratitude and hope for the future. We can’t thank you enough, Jane.”
