Dover-Foxcroft drive-in extends season

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis County Ice Arena and Center Theatre have announced that they are extending the season of the temporary Dover-Foxcroft drive-in through Aug. 8.

Patrick Myers, executive director of the Center Theatre, said that people have been enjoying the drive-in. “We’ve had good crowds at most of the shows,” he said, “so Matt Spooner at the ice arena and I agreed we should keep the partnership going for another month.”

Myers said the drive-in will be showing “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” “Happy Gilmore,” “Back to the Future” and “Mamma Mia.” Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased at centertheatre.org. Concessions can also be purchased in advance from the Piscataquis County Ice Arena.
