HAMPDEN — Brooklyn Decker of Penquis Valley High School earned top honors in the shot put at a May 22 Penobscot Valley Conference track meet at Hampden Academy, helping the Patriots score 37 points to finish fifth among a field of six teams.

HERMON — The Dexter Regional High School girls outdoor track & field team scored 35 points to finish third among five schools at a Penobscot Valley Conference meet at Hermon High School on May 15 — the first ever home meet for Hermon.

DUBOIS, Pennsylvania — Olivia Hill of Dover-Foxcroft, a 2023 graduate of Foxcroft Academy, was a captain of the Southern Maine Community College softball team that captured its first-ever United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championship with a commanding 10-0 victory over Florida National University in the title game of the 2025 USCAA Small College World Series on May 15.
