BANGOR — The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation granted $195,000 to 23 nonprofit organizations in Northern New England that are uplifting their communities.

MONSON — A musket and accompanying bayonet that had belonged to a Monson area veteran of the Civil War and had been a family heirloom for the last few decades, will now be a part of the Monson Historical Society.
