Since my wife and I are getting on in years, we decided it would be prudent for us to find a primary care provider a littler closer to home than our previous in Bangor. We made an appointment with a doctor’s office (I will not say who it is, or where it is for discretionary reasons).

For a town attempting to rebuild itself, to energize its growth potential and expand business opportunities, Dover-Foxcroft’s Charter Revision Commission appears to have done everything possible to reverse that process.

I would like to clear up a couple of misconceptions about the fairgrounds. Following that, I would like to express my concerns for the lawns and road system of said grounds.

Maine election officials are readying for an election in just over three weeks that you already may have forgotten about — if you knew about it at all. Suzanne Cox Raymond of Dover-Foxcroft and a member of the GFWC/Miosac Club, has been nominated for the Jennie Award. The award is named in honor of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) founder Jane Cunningham Croly who wrote for national newspapers under the pseudonym “Jennie June.”

The area’s high school outdoor track and field teams recently took part in the final meets of the 2017 regular season, with four squads traveling to the University of Maine on May 18.

Just ask and Alexa will provide information, play music, read the news, set alarms, control smart home devices and more," according to Amazon.
