BREWER — Athletes representing the area’s high schools took part in the 2023 Penobscot Valley Conference junior varsity outdoor track and field championship meet on Wednesday, May 24 at the Brewer Community School.

OLD TOWN — The Piscataquis Community Middle School, Ridge View Community School, and SeDoMoCha Middle School outdoor track and field teams concluded the 2023 season on Monday, May 22 at the Almquist Middle School Invitational at Old Town High School.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy boys outdoor track and field team closed out the regular season by edging John Bapst Memorial High School of Bangor by 1.

OLD TOWN — The Greenville High School boys track and field team concluded the regular season by placing third among a half dozen teams during a Penobscot Valley Conference meet at Old Town High School on May 20.

ORONO — The Dexter Regional High School girls outdoor track and field team finished with a score of 36 points to place third among a field of five teams during the Tigers’ last regular season Penobscot Valley Conference meet on May 19 at Orono High School.

BREWER — The Foxcroft Academy boys track and field team scored 108 points at a Penobscot Valley Conference meet on May 13 at the Brewer Community School, good for second place among a field of seven teams.

CARIBOU — The Piscataquis Community High School track team traveled to Aroostook County for a Penobscot Valley Conference meet at Caribou High School on May 13, and the Pirate girls left with a third-place performance.

BANGOR — The Dexter Regional High School and Penquis Valley High School track teams were both in action at a Penobscot Valley Conference meet at Cameron Stadium on May 12.
