By Eesha Pendharkar, Bangor Daily News Staff More Mainers have died from fatal crashes in 2020 than last year even with less traffic amid the coronavirus pandemic, with a state official citing cases of reckless driving on more open roads.

To the Editor; As the days get shorter and the snow begins to fly, the Bicycle Coalition of Maine wants to remind all drivers to slow down and pay extra attention for pedestrians, people on bikes, and other vulnerable users on our state’s roadways.

Phase 2 of funding from the Maine Economic Recovery Grant Program is being distributed.
