PRYMCA announces management changes

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The board of directors of the Piscataquis Regional YMCA has made some recent changes to secure the PRYMCA’s financial health and ongoing sustainability. The board had to eliminate the position of executive director as of Oct. 26. The strong staff team continue to manage day-to-day operations with support from the board in the short term, while management options are being explored.

The PRYMCA continues to do important work to support the youth, families and adults in the region. The 10-member board of directors is committed to continuing the mission-driven programs that strengthen the foundation of the community.

The board wishes to thank outgoing Executive Director Rod Willey for his leadership, hard work and — most importantly — for his commitment to the Y’s mission and its core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
