How they voted: Legislature overrides 14 out of 48 vetoes

AUGUSTA — The Maine Legislature reconvened on May 1 to reconsider 48 vetoes issued by Gov. Paul LePage on a wide range of subjects from concealed weapons to insurance coverage for autism.
Lawmakers overrode 14 out of the 48 vetoes by a minimum two-thirds margin. In some cases, the Maine Senate didn’t reconsider votes because they failed to reach the minimum threshold for an override in the House.
