“I always had the intention of coming back to the area,” she said. “I’m looking forward to serving a community that’s so close to where I grew up and where there is a real need for care.”

Pullen cared for patients who had a variety of significant health concerns as a Med/Surg nurse. The experience strengthened her interest in preventive care.

“A lot of challenges with prevention come from a lack of follow up with primary care,” she said. “I want to be able to do something about that. It’s important to me to maintain communication with my patients and be somebody who they can trust and feel comfortable coming to.”

Pullen is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine.

A full range of primary care services are offered at Primary Care, Corinth. The practice has received recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition (Level 3) for using evidence-based, patient-centered processes that focus on highly coordinated care and long-term, participative relationships.
