Milo Garden Club begins 2026-27 season

BROWNVILLE — In September, the Milo Garden Club had the pleasure of having the first meeting of the year at Wildwoods in Brownville. After lunch, the group reviewed the 2026-27 yearbook of upcoming programs, discussed the summer fair, which was held on Aug. 6, described summer plantings and looked forward to new opportunities.

Milo Garden Club will meet again in October when the annual Pig-in-a-Poke auction will incite competitive spirits, rounds of laughter and bids to benefit Dyer’s Hope House Food Pantry in Milo.

MEETINGS RESUME — Members of Milo Garden Club began a new garden club year with a luncheon and meeting on Sept. 8 at Wildwoods in Brownville.

The next meeting of the club is at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at the Three Rivers Kiwanis building in Milo. Meetings are open to the public and free to attend. If you would like to participate in the Pig-in-a-Poke Auction bring a wrapped, inexpensive gift item to be put up for bid. Then sit back and enjoy the fun!
