Foxcroft scores 12 goals vs. Hermon

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Foxcroft Academy found the Hermon High School goal 12 times in the team’s 2026 home opener on Saturday morning, Sept. 12 at the Jim Robinson Field House. The Class C North Ponies (2-0) held the Class B North Hawks (1-2) to zero shots on goal and no penalty corners.

Foxcroft had seven goals in the first half and then another five in the third quarter for a 12-0 advantage. The 12 goals reached in 2025 and 2026 are the most for Foxcroft in at least several years, per the Maine Principals’ Association archives.

Sophomore Addie Rayfield led the Ponies with four goals, splitting these between the first and third quarters. Senior Jenna Hartford recorded a hat trick as she scored the game’s first goal and No. 10 and 11. She assisted on two other goals.
