Trustworthy elections initiative
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The local Highlands Chapter of the League of Women Voters of Maine, in conjunction with Central Hall Commons, is hosting a nonpartisan gathering that brings together residents, election officials, civic organizations and other community members to participate in fun trust-building activities, build relationships through conversations and civic engagement, meet with election officials, learn about local election processes and safeguards, and contribute to a broader story of trust in elections.
The event will be held at Central Hall Commons, 152 East Main St., from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17. This event is free, and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
