Foxcroft Academy to hold postgraduate fair, open house
DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Wednesday, Sept. 2, Foxcroft Academy will host its annual Fall Open House. It’s a chance for all Foxcroft Academy students and their families to visit the school and meet their teachers. Along with the event FA’s Counseling Services department will host its 2026 Postgraduate Fair, featuring dozens of local colleges, businesses and organizations.
“It is essential to give students the chance to connect with college and military representatives, as well as potential employers, so they understand their options after graduating from high school,” Kandi Martin, Foxcroft Academy school counselor, said. “There are many opportunities available that students need to explore, whether it involves attending college, joining the military, or entering the workforce directly after high school. This evening is designed to provide them with this opportunity, right in their own community.”
FAIR AND OPEN HOUSE — Foxcroft will host its 2026 Postgraduate Fair from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 with the Fall Open House to follow from 6 to 7 p.m.
Here is the schedule for the evening:
5:30-7 p.m. Postgraduate College/Career Fair (Foxcroft Academy gymnasium) To date, 45 Maine colleges and universities, companies and professionals from various careers and representatives from all branches of the military have committed to the event, with more confirmations coming in daily. Participants will be present, set up and available for students and parents to stop by and ask questions about applications, programs, positions, qualifications and other related topics. This event is open to all FA students and parents, as well as students from Dexter, Milo, Guilford and Greenville high schools.
