Greenville woman on way to Florida missing

Greenville police say an 83-year-old woman who was traveling from Maine to Florida is missing.

Eleanor “Merrill” Pritham was last seen while leaving her residence during the early morning hours of Monday, July 27.

She last communicated with her family the following Wednesday afternoon. At that time, she was believed to be in the South Carolina area and traveling north.

Investigators have determined that earlier in the week she stayed overnight in West Virginia and was possibly in the Augusta, Georgia area on Tuesday. She never arrived at her destination.

Pritham is believed to be traveling with her two dogs in a red Kia Soul with Florida registration plates BX44YK.

Family members have reported that she has recently shown signs of memory loss and cognitive issues.
