Schoodic Lake Bass Tournament returns Sunday

LAKE VIEW PLANTATION — The eighth annual Schoodic Lake Bass Tournament will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, hosted by Harvey RV & Marine, Eagle Bassmasters and Bangor Bass Club.

Boats will be in the water at 6:30 a.m. on the Lake View Plantation body of water.

Prizes include $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second and $1,500 for third. There will be a Big Fish Lunker Payout and Junior Lunker Prize (for ages 15 and under) of a Maine Lifetime Fishing License.

The entry fee is $100 per team and an optional $10 big fish entry. Proof of insurance required. A carry‑in, carry‑out policy is enforced

Schoodic Lake is one of only five waters in Maine’s North Zone approved for bass tournaments under MDIFW’s General Law. This event brings together seasoned anglers, local clubs and families for a competitive but welcoming day on the water.
