PCHS girls tennis falls in semifinal match at Van Buren
VAN BUREN — The sixth-seeded Piscataquis Community High School girls tennis fell 3-2 in a Class C North semifinal at No. 2 Van Buren District Secondary School on June 3. The Pirates finished at 9-5 while Van Buren improved to 10-2 and advanced to the regional championship.
Match results are: Arianna Crosby (PCHS) def Emily Lapierre 3-6; 7-5; 10-3
Alex Deschaine (VB) def. Karigan Wilson 6-3; 6-0
Alivia Koscielny (PCHS) def Natalie Beaulieu 6-4; 6-1
Taylor Ouellette & Madelyn Marquis (VB) def. Ava Goulette & Kiara Moore 6-2; 6-3
Hannah Ouellette & Mya Perkins (VB) def. Anna Folsom & Kormon Libera 7-6 (7-5); 6-2.
