GFWC MIOSAC Club 90th birthday dinner
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The GFWC Miosac Club recently celebrated its 90th birthday at the Mill. We were greeted by Chef Clara, a former member. Tables were decorated with beautiful spring flowers. Minnie McCormick presented each member with a forget me not “bouquet.”
Special guest Wendy Hutchins attended and we were so pleased to see her. Associate member Vicki Parsons and Cathie Goodine were present as well. Great to have them with us on a special birthday.
Suzanne Raymond showed a certificate presented by GFWC International congratulating us on our 90th year of service. Laurie Ducat reported that we had received three awards at convention.

Birthday cake was served by our hostess.
Vice President McCormick conducted a “rose” installation service. Each flower was handcrafted and colors were appropriated to each one. That concluded the birthday celebration. The club will be in recess until fall, some activities will happen during the summer. The community directory ads will take place late summer.
Members signed cards for two members who were unable to attend. GFWC Miosac Club had a very productive year!
Officers installed were President Suzanne Raymond, Vice President Laurie Ducat, Recording Secretary Diane Leighton, Treasurer Anne Cress, Corresponding Secretary Roxy McGlauflin and Auditor Kathy Ryder.
