Bryant places in both hurdle events at PVC finals
HERMON — The Foxcroft Academy boys scored nine points to finish in 11th place among 11 schools at the 2026 Penobscot Valley Conference large school outdoor track and field championship on Saturday, May 30 at Hermon High School. The Ponies took part in the larger competition of the two PVC divisions for the first time since 2019.
Foxcroft senior Aiden Bryant accounted for a half dozen of his team’s points with top five performances in both hurdle events.
In the 110-meter hurdle finals Bryant placed fourth with his time of 16.83 seconds. He also came in fifth in the 300 hurdles at 46.58 seconds.
Three Ponies had sixth-place finishes. Sophomore Maddox Kimbal in the high jump at 5 feet, 6 inches; senior Conner Donahue in the long jump at 19-08.25; and senior Landon Smith in the triple jump at 27-10.
The Foxcroft girls were 11th among a field of 11 teams with two points.
Junior Jasmine Hall picked up the two points with her fifth-place shot put throw. Hall had a top distance of 31-03.
