Greenville area Memorial Day events on Monday, May 25 begin with a 9 a.m. ceremony at the Rockwood cemetery. Another ceremony takes place at 10 a.m. at the Richard Francis Lavigne Memorial Bridge on Route 15 over the East Outlet in Sapling Township with a ceremony at the Shirley cemetery at 11 a.m. Wreath laying will be done at Greenville at the honor roll at around noon.
The day prior, Sunday, May 24, American Legion Post 94 on Pritham Avenue serves a pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m.
