Congress needs an auditor like Matt Dunlap

To the Editor;

Matt Dunlap, Maine’s state auditor, is running for Congress in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Matt is a certified internal auditor. There are not enough real certified accounting people in Congress.

I think Matt will be able to use his skills to work to reverse the Trump and GOP policies that are bankrupting our country and producing illegal corruption in Washington.

He could be able to craft specialized legislation to audit the DOGE invasion of our government databases and determine whether our information was protected and did not find its way into any of Elon Musk’s AI entities.

I think Matt Dunlap will beat Paul LePage, who seems to treat Maine like his high-priced unemployment check. Trump hasn’t even hired LePage in his administration.

Matt Dunlap has unique auditing skills that Congress desperately needs to fight GOP corruption in and out of Congress.
