Mason for governor
To the Editor;
After more than 20 years in the United States Air Force, I learned that leadership is built on service, discipline and putting mission before self. In the years since, working in business and as a Registered Maine Guide has only reinforced another lesson: people respect leaders who are prepared, steady and accountable.
This is why I have chosen to endorse Garrett Mason for governor.
Having served in the Maine Legislature, I understand how important it is to have a governor who knows the difference between campaign talk and real governing. Maine needs someone who can take office on day one with a clear understanding of the challenges ahead and the experience to begin solving them immediately.
Mason brings that readiness. He understands state government, respects taxpayers, values public safety and believes Maine people deserve a government that works for them — not against them. I have seen it firsthand.
I also respect the way Mason carries himself. He is serious about public service, grounded in principle and focused on results rather than theatrics. Those qualities matter in any leader, especially in uncertain times.
From our outdoors economy to our small towns and working families, Maine needs leadership that understands the people who make this state strong.
I am certain that Mason has the character, judgment and experience to serve Maine.
