DOVER-FOXCROFT — The GFWC/Miosac Club met April 22. President Laurie Ducat called the meeting to order and thanked hostesses Rheba Michaud and Roxy McGlauflin.

Recording Secretary Diane Leighton took roll call with 11 members answering. Roxy McGlauflin led the Collect, Pledge of Allegiance and Americans Creed. Ducat spoke of the district meeting held in Newport April 18. As president she spoke about the Blanket for Vets that we did in the fall.

Three pictures from the high school art contest  were on display as were other schools in the district. The Foxcroft Academy Peoples’ Choice was awarded a prize and will go on to state in May. The student art work was very impressive this year!
