Second annual Moosehead Marathon

GREENVILLE — The second annual Moosehead Marathon, including 26.2 mile and half marathon races, took place on Sunday, April 26.

Luke Dupuis, 23 of Stow, won the marathon. He covered the course in 3 hours, 35 minutes, 29 seconds to be the first of 22 entrants to cross the finish line.

Cyndie Sautereau, 49 of Lac Delage, Quebec, came in second overall and she was the women’s marathon winner in a time of 3:42.40.

Garvey Melmed, 29 of Old Town, earned top honors in the half marathon. Melmed covered the 13.1 miles in a time of 1:21.32 for the fastest among a field of 126 entrants.

Tara Gray, 33 of Greenville, was the women’s half marathon winner. She ran the course in 1:37.36.
