Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis Bike Rodeo Saturday

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Kiwanis Club of Dover-Foxcroft’s Bike Rodeo returns on Saturday, May 2 in the parking lot by Kiwanis Park/Piscataquis Area Community Center at 48 Park St.

Ages 4-10 are invited to receive encouragement and be taught how to ride safely. They will learn traffic skills and the rules of the road riding a closed course design by the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with helmet fitting – get a free helmet if you need one; bicycle mechanical safety inspections; instructions on how to ride the course; and some loaner bikes will be available.

The traffic skills course will be open to all from 10 a.m. to noon.
