Dexter Regional High School announces Class of 2026 valedictorian and salutatorian
DEXTER — Dexter Regional High School Principal Stephen Bell is honored to announce the valedictorian for the Class of 2026, Chloe Murdock and Salutatorian Casey Swenson.
Murdock is the daughter of Kyle and Holly Murdock of Dexter. Murdock is planning to attend Columbia University to study pre-med.

While in high school, she has been highly active in the school and community, involved with field hockey, softball, tennis, student government, Key Club, Math Team, Library Club, Positive Action, Global Discussions, chorus and band, musical theater, Seeds of Peace, year book, STEM, Upward Bound and the National Honor Society. Murdock is currently serving as National Honor Society secretary, as well as Key Club president, Positive Action president and student government vice president. She is also the 2026 DRHS Maine Principals’ Association Award recipient
Swenson is the daughter of Meg Sylvia of Dexter. She is planning to attend the University of Maine-Farmington to study elementary education.

While in high school, Swenson has been involved in Key Club, JMG student leadership, Positive Action, DRHS Newsletter, student government, Global Discussions and National Honor Society. She currently serves as Key Club secretary, JMG leadership president, Positive Action vice president, NHS treasurer, student government secretary and Class of 2026 vice president.
The administration, faculty and staff at DRHS would like to congratulate these two exceptional students on all of their hard work and accomplishments.
