Grow your own mushrooms with PCSWCD at two local breweries
Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District is gearing up to present two Mushroom Log Inoculation Workshops, one on April 25 at Two Knights Brewery, Sangerville and a second on May 2 at the Railyard Brewery in Milo.
Participants will learn how to properly and successfully inoculate logs to grow mushrooms. These techniques can be used for home or commercial cultivation. Registration includes all the materials needed and participants will leave the workshop with two fully inoculated logs. The mushroom species we will be growing will be oyster mushrooms, which are delicious, nutritious and easy to grow.

Registration for this workshop is required and limited, so make sure to head over to www.piscataquisswcd.org to claim a spot in this fun, informative workshop. We encourage workshop participants to take the time to grab something to eat or drink while attending the workshop, as both Two Knights and the Railyard will be offering food and drink throughout the event.
