WREATH CEREMONY — Law enforcement officers gathered at the Hillside Cemetery in Monson as part of a statewide wreath-laying ceremony for all troopers who died in the line of duty. Monson native and Trooper Frank Wing was killed in a motorcycle accident in Millinocket on Aug. 19, 1928. Several community members were in attendance as well as Rick Wing who played taps in honor of his relative. After the ceremony there were refreshments offered at the Monson Museum by members of the historical society.
