HALL OF FAMERS — Foxcroft Academy’s Athletic of Hall Class of 2025 inductees were recognized at halftime of the Sept. 19 Homecoming football game between the Ponies and Old Town High School. Honored were, from left, Peg Wakeland, Class of 1960, wife of the late Gary Wakeland who was inducted for being a longtime Foxcroft Academy teacher and coach; Makenzie (Beaudry) Smith, Class of 2019; Ian Champeon, Class of 2010; Alan Smith, Class of 1965; and Randi (Kennedy) McKenney, Class of 2004. Football game attendees heard biographies of the five and each honoree received their induction rings. This is the 15th class of the Foxcroft Academy Athletic Hall of Fame, and since 2011 the Hall has grown to include 86 former student-athletes, coaches and contributors.
